Lent is here! The last few years I have monitored the debate on whether to give something up for Lent or add a practice to expand and deepen one’s faith. Well, I propose…coming to church! It’s not just for Sunday, you know. We have so many opportunities to be with one another this March. Whether a Cottage 2.0 meeting, a Wednesday Ecumenical worship, coloring on Monday afternoons, or the Third Thursday men’s gathering, YOU are needed.

Of course, Sundays are a good day to be here, as well. We will be incorporating the Holden Evening Prayer service into our morning worship. I am very excited about this because the Holden service is a favorite of mine.

“Life moves pretty fast,” observed Ferris Bueller. Indeed. Church can be the place to catch your breath.

See you soon! Pastor Beth
