My theological training was received through our Synod’s Lay School of Ministry. In addition, I have taken a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) which added skills in one-on-one pastoral ministry. My primary focus at Faith is pastoral care of and an advocate for older adults. Much of this is carried out through visitation to the home-bound, and to those who are in assisted living or nursing homes for either rehabilitation or long-term stays. Periodic Sunday worship leading, preaching and assisting with funerals are also portions of my part-time position.

My husband and I are parents of two grown children. Our daughter is a professor and the assistant dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Arkansas State University. She is married and the Mom of our two teenage grandchildren. Our son is a chef in Madison, but has worked extensively in Chicago and other countries learning new cuisines.

I have been a member of Faith for 38 years. My previous life’s work was in public relations and marketing of senior adult health care services.
