About Faith’s Confirmation program…
Faith Lutheran Church’s Confirmation program is a three year curriculum for sixth through eight graders. It prepares them to become an adult member of the church via their confirmation in the fall of their ninth grade year. The program cycles through three courses, with the 2016/2017 school year focusing on the New Testament, 2017/2018 focusing on the Luther’s Small Catechism, and 2018/2019 focusing on the Old Testament.
Roughly every Wednesday night during the school year, the students meet at 5:45 at Faith for a lesson, family activity, or other event, and that goes until around 7:00. After that, small group time is lead by mentors of Faith. The mentors help students with questions, prayers, and giving guidance as they learn more about their faith.
